Seaside Heights: February 22 · Online Donation

For over 50 years, Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ) provides year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health screenings to more than 26,000 athletes. All of these programs and services are always completely FREE thanks to fundraising events like the annual Polar Bear Plunges at Wildwood and Seaside Heights.

Register online for $25 to get started and set up a customizable fundraising page like this one. The fee counts toward the $100 minimum to be raised to qualify to participate.

Raise more money for Special Olympics New Jersey while earning Polar Bear Plunge incentives by sharing your fundraising page with family and friends via email and social media.

The Jersey shore Polar Bear Plunges are so much more than an icy dip into the Atlantic Ocean. So take the plunge! But if you’d prefer to lend your support from the comfort of your home, you can donate online, or by mail from here or here.

Special Olympics New Jersey is also grateful for the thousands of law enforcement personnel from all over New Jersey who support our mission through the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR).

The LETR has been recognized around the world for many years as one of the top grassroots fundraising organizations for Special Olympics. Through year-round fundraising events, the LETR has raised more than $3 million annually!
