When Daniel Regan left the safety of his final rehabilitation, he was unsure of how to piece his life back together. He developed a successful recovery system for himself with the help of his mother Lynn Regan. Others became interested in sustaining his long-term recovery, and the Regans quickly realized that everyone deserves access to an post-addiction aftercare program.

HealingUs.org, founded by the Coming Full Circle (CRC) Loud and Clear foundation, is committed to helping individuals and families struggling with addiction find, maintain, and strengthen their recovery through peer-based support & programs.

Program components include life skills workshops, career counseling, peer support meetings, and sober social activities.

Back in 2009, brothers Turbo and Jay Scorpion (aka John and Josh Shatesky), both living with a form of muscular dystrophy, found a way to combine their love of rock and metal, the rock/metal community’s desire to unite help others, and fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association into what is now known across the country as Rock Against Dystrophy.

“When my brother and I first started Rock Against Dystrophy, we would talk about how cool it’d be to get our favorite bands involved”, adds Turbo, “and here we are ten years later rocking for a great cause WITH members of rock and metal’s elite year after year because they believe in the cause whom I’m honored to call friends as we keep in touch year round.”
