Things are “looking good” for East Brunswick, who welcomed another new business to the Royal Plaza on Route 18 South. Economic Development Officer Robert Zuckerman was on hand for the opening of Logos Vision, an office providing medical eye exams and prescriptions, eyeglass recommendations, and some pretty snazzy frames all in a contemporary, stylish location.

About two dozen there to support Dr. Silana Abadeer and her husband Mina as they opened the second location of Logos — the company has an established presence in Perth Amboy — and the event and ribbon cutting presented the joyous opening of a true family business in the township.

Abadeer described the easy-access location as “perfect” as a place to grow and an opportunity to reach new customers in East Brunswick. Mayor Mayor Brad Cohen, who also attended the grand opending ceremony, noted the daily traffic of nearly 100,000 cars passing by the Royal Plaza on Route 18 South.

Logos Vision will offer the full range of optical services, including medical examinations by Abadeer. Moving forward, Logos Vision business hopes to expand to include the production of some prescription lenses in-house, providing, as Cohen said, “true one-stop shopping on Route 18.”
