The Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside returns to the beach this weekend — Saturday February 26, 50 Blaine Avenue, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751 from 10:00AM – 2:00PM. We know you’ve supported it in the past, and we hope you can again this year!
We currently have 4,704 registered plungers who have raised $1,165,308 toward our goal of $1.8 million for Special Olympics New Jersey!
Each year, the Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside challenges thousands of brave jumpers from around the state. It’s a great way for everyone — individuals, teams, organizations and businesses–to get involved supporting Special Olympics New Jersey. All funds raised go towards programming and events for thousands of athletes statewide.
Thank you for helping thousands of athletes with Down Syndrome around the state compete alongside friends as they get back out onto the playing fields courts, and award stages where they belong!
Can’t make it to the plunge? No need to worry, we’ve got a “virtual plunge” option — Rather than just donate, you can register and plunge at home your way!
Plunge your way, have fun, be safe, and know that you are supporting thousands of registered Special Olympics New Jersey athletes.
Get dressed up in those costumes. Break out the usual plunge props you use every year. Make the banners and signs like you normally would.
Register online for $25 to get started and set up a customizable fundraising page. The registration fee counts toward the $110 minimum.
As you raise more money for Special Olympics New Jersey, you will also earn some fresh Polar Bear Plunge incentives.
All actual and virtual Plungers who donate or raise the $110 minimum qualify to receive a Special Olympics New Jersey Polar Plunge hoodie!
