On behalf of hosts John “Turbo” and Josh “Jay Scorpion” Shatesky, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, it’s time to officially say thank you: our Rock Against Dystrophy (RAD) tenth anniversary show raised $4,000.
That would not have been possible with The Headliner club in Neptune New Jersey, giving us their great venue to use. And without Tom Herres, we would’ve been doing acoustic sets there — he made sure the sound was loud and proud.
Thank you to master of ceremonies “Tattoo” Tony Rodriguez, his band Broken Past, and the bands Metal Life Crisis, Arc’d Angel, and Pierced for rocking the house big time.
Thank you to the 2019 RAD All Stars: Mark Tornillo, Nina Osegueda, Ron Lipnicki, Chris Caffery, Danny Watts, Nathan Opposition, Chris O’Hara, Dan Lorenzo, Jimmy Schulman, Jack Frost, David DiPietro, Scott Metaxas, Ken Dubman, Russ Arcara, Jimmy Callahan, Chandler Mogel, Ed Avila, and Charlie Calv. Of course, a thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate by coming out or donating.
And because it’s our tenth anniversary, a huge thank you to all the bands, venues, All-Stars, attendees and donors from the previous years — without all of you, this NEVER could have happened.
Ten years down, and more to go until we’ve rocked out hard enough to Knock Out Muscular Dystrophy!
