ShopRite is joining forces with prescription benefits manager Paramount Rx hosting free blood glucose screenings at select ShopRite locations. In an effort to address the growing diabetes epidemic, ShopRite’s registered dietitians will assist with glucose-level tests and share expert tips with residents to help prevent and treat the disease.
“ShopRite is committed to improving the total health and wellness of our customers,” said Natalie Menza, Manager of Health and Wellness at ShopRite. “Community events like these give us the unique opportunity to raise awareness and help our customers make informed, educated lifestyle choices when it comes to their preventing and treating diseases such as diabetes.”
