On Aug. 7, a special blood drive for high school students will be held in Paramus NJ.
“This event provides high school students an opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on their local community, while simultaneously spending time with friends they may not have seen since the school year concluded,” Community Blood Services, the organization running the drive, said in a statement.
The drive will be held at Community Blood Services, 1 W. Ridgewood Ave. Suite 208 Aug. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. Students need to be at least 16 to donate; 16- and 17-year-olds need a signed parental consent form to donate blood.
