Annual Brain Fitness Fair will provide an opportunity for people of all ages to experience a wide array of fun and creative activities and interactive brain fitness stations designed to promote brain wellness. This event will feature prizes and healthy snacks, and will take place at SCAN (Social Community Activities Network), at Boscovs third floor auditorium at Monmouth Mall, located at Routes 35 & 36 in Eatontown. Tour the Eisenberg Family Center, which offers a comfortable, homelike environment for expectant mothers in our expanded labor, delivery and recovery unit; and spacious postpartum rooms for women recovering from childbirth. Tours will be conducted by a staff member who will answer your questions. Tours are held at Monmouth Medical Center, located at 300 Second Avenue in Long Branch. Wednesday, November 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.
No-cost lung cancer screenings by the the Leon Hess Cancer Center for those those who qualify: You must be between 45 and 74 years of age; be either a smoker or one who quit less than 15 years ago, and complete a screening profile with a registered nurse. The screenings (spirometry screening will also be available) will take place at the Cranmer Ambulatory Surgery Center at Monmouth Medical Center, located at 300 Second Avenue in Long Branch. Thursday, November 19 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Everything you need to know about weight-loss surgery. If you are 100 pounds or more overweight, you cant afford to miss this physician-led educational lecture. Attendees are invited to join the monthly support group following the lecture. This program will be held at Monmouth Medical Center, located at 300 Second Avenue in Long Branch. Saturday, November 18 from 5 to 6 p.m.
The latest information on hip and knee replacements including robotic-assisted partial knee and total hip replacement. Learn what to expect before and after surgery, how to prepare yourself to achieve the best possible outcome and receive an overview of The Joint Replacement Center program. This program will take place at Monmouth Medical Center, located at 300 Second Avenue in Long Branch. Registration is required by calling 732-923-7971. Free.
