The autumn and winter athletic fundraising events calendar for Special Olympics New Jersey is up and, well — running:

November 13: Thanks4Giving 5K Turkey Dash And Ocean Splash

Kick off the fun by running in the Turkey Dash 5K, which runs on the boardwalk through New Jersey’s Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, and Bradley Beach communities. Afterwards, you can also go really “cold turkey” by braving the Atlantic Ocean for the Turkey Splash plunge in Asbury Park. You can participate in one or both events, and there’s a special event tailored for the high schools!
