Staten Island Skin Disorder Teen Was In Clinical Trial

John Hudson is diagnosed with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a devastating and life-threatening genetic skin disorder, and has spent his entire life covered in painful wounds. Recently, he participated in a clinical trial that led to pivotal research developments for EB. John is hopeful that in the future children with this diagnosis may not have to experience the same pain. He just needs our help to make this possible.

On November 18, 2020 at 8pm EST, please join EB Research Partnership for Venture Into Cures, a first-of-its-kind digital event. The show will feature uplifting stories of individuals with EB and their families along with celebrity friends Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, David Letterman, Judd Apatow, Jimmy Kimmel, Lukas, Micah, and Willie Nelson, Keb’ Mo’, Luis “King Kong” Ortiz, and many more! Streamed globally by our partner Amazon, Venture Into Cures is packed with noteworthy moments like the debut of a brand new song by Eddie Vedder inspired by EB stories.

EB Research Partnership (EBRP) is the largest global nonprofit funding research to discover treatments and cures for EB. Founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated parents including Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam fame and his wife Jill, EBRP has raised $40M and funded 80 EB research projects to date, impacting the clinical landscape with an increase in the number of clinical trials in EB – from only 2 to over 30 today.

Please join Team John Hudson in helping the funding of life-changing research for a cure! All proceeds benefit EBRP.
